Jaydan D. Johnson
Attorney at Law
With over eight years of experience practicing law in Montana, I understand full well the presumption of innocence and often overwhelming and un-checked power of the government. As a former prosecutor, I have spent hundreds of hours in the courtroom and tried cases ranging from DUI and partner or family member assault to aggravated sexual intercourse without consent. As a defense attorney, I have obtained noteworthy outcomes for my clients that range from significant reductions in charges to outright dismissal of cases. I am an experienced and aggressive trial attorney, and I answer my own phone.
Prior to attending law school, I served in the United States Army Infantry with deployments to Jordan and Iraq and later worked as a Blackwater Contractor in Afghanistan. Additionally, I have experience working in construction, logging, corrections, executive protection, and with at-risk youth at the Grizzly Youth Academy in San Luis Obispo, California.
I am a member of the Gallatin County Bar Association, the Montana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and am licensed to practice in all state courts for Montana and Idaho as well as the United States District Court, District of Montana and the United States District and Bankruptcy Courts, District of Idaho. Outside of work, I spend a great deal of time hunting the backcountry of Idaho and Montana.
